The company, popularly known as Wescotex was established in the year of 1916 by Late Mr.Pothery Kumaran. Since then it has been progressing with its strong vision to provide the best quality products falling under the category of home textiles at a reasonable price, ensuring customer satisfaction. It was the hard initiative and successful operations that led the brand, Wescotex to reach where it is today.

The company has its strong presence and hold in the domestic market of India as well as the global market with its highly resourceful network of distributors and partners. The wide range of home textile products manufactured by Wescotex are now being exported to buyers in US, Canada, UK, Germany, Italy, France, Spain, UAE, Israel, Norway, Sweden, Japan, South Korea, Australia and New Zealand.

Wescotex has its own full-fledged manufacturing facilities including processing, dyeing and finishing plants. Apart from these it has its own tailoring units and specially devised machine to support the division in bringing out finished products. Although Wescotex is headquartered in Kannur (kerala), it has its units operating in Karur, Erode, Salem, Madurai, Coimbatore and Chennai (in Tamil Nadu), Chiral (in Andhra Pradesh) and Calicut (in Kerala).

The company also owns shipping facility in Kochi, Chennai and Mumbai sea ports. Wescotex indeed adds pride to Indian industry, being a global supplier to a large network of retailers in America, Europe and Asia.
